当你不知道如何祷告时：五个古代祈祷文或许可以改变你的属灵生命（中英文双语）

我们生活中常常有充满险恶和奇怪的时刻。即使只是浏览下新闻也马上会看到很多的恐怖、讥笑、或者很深的不安。而作为传播生命和希望信息的基督徒，我们面对这样的世界要说什么、做什么呢？当危机来临时，我们很容易失去希望，并且可能会不相信上帝真的会在掌权、在照看我们——或者我们会怀疑他真的存在吗？当我们的生活处于一片烦躁和压力时，定睛于上帝可能好像成了奢饰品一样，我们的信心也会枯竭。我们常常太忙碌，以至于属灵生命得不到喂养。

但是，教会有一个非常关键的传统，也是当下的福音派信徒往往容易忽略的：使用其他人的祷告文祈祷。古代的祈祷文们提醒我们是处于一个更多的图景里面的，这个图景是永恒的，不仅超越时间而且也超越个体。有很多古代的祈祷文都可以使用。

这里分享五个五代的祈祷文。

1.奥古斯丁（354-430）祈祷文
抬眼观看我们，哦主啊，
让我们灵魂的黑暗都在你的光束面前消失。
让我们比你的圣爱充满，
并且把你那智慧的宝藏向我们打开。
我们一切的心愿你都已监察，
因此您早已开始完美之工，
并且你的圣灵已经在祈祷中叫醒我们。
我们寻求你的圣面，
求你的脸转向我们，向我们彰显你的荣耀。
如此我们的愿望就可以满足，
我们的平安就可以完全。

(Augustine, 354 - 430)
Look upon us, O Lord,
and let all the darkness of our souls
vanish before the beams of thy brightness.
Fill us with holy love,
and open to us the treasures of thy wisdom.
All our desire is known unto thee,
therefore perfect what thou hast begun,
and what thy Spirit has awakened us to ask in prayer.
We seek thy face,
turn thy face unto us and show us thy glory.
Then shall our longing be satisfied,
and our peace shall be perfect.

2. （英格兰教会的晚祷文）
创造世界的主啊，在这一天结束之前，我们向你祈祷，
祈求因着你不动摇的爱，来保守我们。
当我们安睡时，求你在四周看顾我们。
让噩梦不要搅扰我们，
让惧怕和恐惧不要来侵扰我们；

3.（圣方济各的祈祷文：）
主啊，求你使我们成为你和平的工具，
在有仇恨的地方，让我播种仁爱，
在有伤害的地方，让我播种宽恕，
在有猜疑的地方，让我播种信任，
在有绝望的地方，让我播种希望，
在有黑暗的地方，让我播种光明，
在有悲伤的地方，让我播种喜乐。
主啊，求你给予我们那梦寐以求的，
叫我们不求安慰，但去安慰，
不求理解，但去理解，
不求被爱，但去爱。
因为，给予就是我们的收获，
宽恕别人，我们就被宽恕，

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

我们的主耶和华啊，你是有福的。
你的言语何等的甘美，
比口中的蜜还要甘甜。
你的诫命何等宝贵，
比手中的精进还要宝贵。
你对这世界的旨意何等非凡，
你对万族不止息你的爱。
我们的口应该歌颂你的应许，
